Stuart Dybek

Stuart Dybek is the award-winning author of the story collections "Childhood and Other Neighborhoods," "I Sailed With Magellan," and "The Coast of Chicago," as well as the poetry anthologies "Brass Knuckles" and "Streets in Their Own Ink." He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Iowa in 1973 and is a distinguished writer in residence at Northwestern University. His numerous accolades include a PEN/Malamud Award, a Lannan Award, and the Writing Writers Award.
