
Giorgos Deliopoulos
George Deliopoulos holds a PhD in Prehistoric Archaeology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and is a philologist in Secondary Education. He lives permanently with his wife and two children in Kozani.
He has published three poetry collections: "Small Odysseus" (Iolkos Publications, 2009), "Visiting Angel" (Koventareios Municipal Library of Kozani Publications, 2015), and "Eordaia Land" (co-authored with poet Christos Toumanidis, Rome Publications, 2019). Additionally, he edited the student poetry anthology of Kozani Prefecture, "Teenage Verses" (Kozani Philologists Association Publications, 2019). In 2013 and 2015, theater groups in Kozani staged his two plays, "Return..." and "Traces of Memory." Since 2019, he has been an editorial consultant for the literary magazine Karyothraustis (Rome Publications).
His poems have won awards in various literary competitions, and his poems and essays have been published in collective volumes and magazines such as: Apoplus, "Diodos, Embolimon, Theuth, Mandragoras, Nea Estia, Nisides, Odos Panos, Parembasi, Porphyra, Ta Poiitika, To Koralli, among others.
He has participated in dozens of literary readings and visual performances in collaboration with the Municipal and Regional Theatre of Kozani, the National Theatre of Northern Greece, and the School of Fine Arts of Florina.
