Antzela Ziouti

Angela Ziouti was born in 1968 in Thessaloniki. She studied at the School of Economic Sciences of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has worked in advertising, education, and as a sales and public relations manager in major Greek companies. She writes for the newspaper ETHNOS. She made her literary debut with the work "God Lives in a Skyscraper, 31 Poems of the City," Paratiritis, 1999, Thessaloniki (poetry). This was followed by "The Architecture of Silent Days," Ellinika Grammata, 2003, Athens (poetry), "The Sun on the Floor," Fereniki, 2009, Athens (novel), "Black Stone" (theatrical play) 2015, "The Man Who Spoke to Statues," Gavriilidis, 2017, Athens (poetry). She speaks German and English. She is a member of the Thessaloniki Society of Writers. For several years, she served as the General Secretary of the Public Relations Society of Northern Greece. She is married to nuclear doctor Dimitris Grigorakis and lives in Thessaloniki.
