
Panagiotis Tournikiotis
Panagiotis Tournikiotis was born in 1955 in Athens. He teaches architectural theory at the School of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens. He has published books on Adolf Loos, Le Corbusier, the influence of the Parthenon in modern times, and the historiography of modern architecture. His book "The Historiography of Modern Architecture" was published in 1999 in English (MIT Press) and translated into Spanish in 2001 (Mairea/Celeste). He has been honored twice with the International Architectural Book Award by the American Institute of Architects and once with the Academy of Athens Award.
