THanasis Panou

Thanasis Panou studied Economics, Sociology, and Criminology, and later pursued specialized studies in visual arts (image-sound-movement-speech), focusing his research on the function of artistic form and its formal correspondence from one art form to another through experiential education. He is a founding member of the "visual poetry" archive of Greek and foreign writers and participates in the events of the Athens Art International Arts Festival and the International Film Poetry Festival (The Institute for Experimental Arts). He has published twelve books, and his essays, prose, and poems have been featured in newspapers, magazines, and literary anthologies and have been translated into English, Spanish, Bulgarian, Turkish, Russian, Romanian, and Albanian. He is a contributor to the online magazine schooltime.
