Ian Johnston

Ian Johnston began his research career in Hull and Bristol. His research team at St. Andrews employs genetic, molecular, physiological, and structural techniques, as well as organism-level approaches, to study muscle development and growth in teleost fish, with a particular focus on thermal adaptation and the evolution of Antarctic and Arctic species.
