
Stergia Kavvalou
Stergia Kavvalou was born in March 1982 in Athens. She is a prose writer, children's book author, and translator. Her short story collection "Alzheimer Trance" (published by Tetragono) was nominated in the 'New Author' category of the literary magazine Diavazo in 2011. She participated in the 1st Festival of Young Writers organized by the National Book Centre of Greece (EKEBI), following a recommendation from the same magazine. In 2012, she received an encouragement scholarship from the CNL (National Book Center of France) for her next book titled "Antistrofa-Love will tear us apart." Her poetry collection "Plastic Spring" was nominated for the "Yiannis Varveris Award 2014." She contributes articles to the online press. She is a graduate of the cultural management master's program at Panteion University.
