Georgios Fragiadakis

Father Georgios Frangiadakis was born in Heraklion in 1945. He holds degrees from the Ecclesiastical School of Crete and in Theology, Philology, and Law from the University of Athens, having received a scholarship from the I.K.Y. of the "Ant. Papadakis" Endowment. He has participated in numerous conferences and seminars. Ordained as a clergyman by the late Archbishop of Crete, Eugenios, he collaborated with him for five years. Since 1970, he has served as the Head Priest of the Church of the Dormition of the Theotokos (Nea Fokea) in Haidari. He worked in secondary education as a Theology and Philology teacher in Greece and abroad, served as a high school principal for a decade, and as a supervisor for four years. His missionary work spans Europe, Latin America, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. Father Georgios is the author of 100 books on various subjects. He served as the president of the Haidari Association of Scientists and as a scientific collaborator with the Holy Metropolis of Nikaia, overseeing its publications. He was the secretary of the Synodal Committee on Dogmatic and Canonical Issues of the Holy Synod. Father Georgios has been honored by the Holy Synod, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Nikaia, Alexios, the Ministry of Culture, the Hellenic Society of Christian Letters, and various associations and organizations in Greece and the diaspora, among others.
