Daniel Bensaid

Daniel Bensaïd (1946-2010) was a professor of philosophy at the University of Paris VIII and the editor of the Marxist journals Critique Communiste and Contretemps. In addition to his academic work, he published dozens of philosophical works and essays on political thought and intervention in contemporary theoretical debates, which have been translated into many languages. In Greek, apart from the collective work "We Are the Heirs of May 1968," co-authored with Alain Krivine (published by Ergatikí Pálē in 2005), many of his writings have appeared in theoretical journals such as Utopia, Theses, and others. "Marx [Mode of Use]" is essentially the first book by Daniel Bensaïd to be published in our language, and we believe it fills a significant gap. It also pays a modest tribute to the activist and thinker who has left us.
