
Sean Phillips
Sean Phillips is a British illustrator with over twenty years of experience on both sides of the Atlantic. In the UK, he is a popular and regular contributor to 2000 AD, the successful weekly magazine where the adventures of Judge Dredd are published. Phillips made his American debut with Hellblazer #31, published by DC Vertigo, followed by Kid Eternity, Shade the Changing Man, and Hell Eternal. Phillips has also worked on superhero comics, including the series Uncanny X-Men and Batman: Gotham Knights. In 2003, Phillips collaborated with writer Ed Brubaker on Sleeper, which Entertainment Weekly described as "a thoroughly paranoid espionage story with superhumans." In addition to comics, Phillips is also involved in painting, with landscapes being his favorite subject.
