Dimitris Kretsis

Dimitris Kretsis was born in Athens in 1945, where he also grew up. After completing his secondary education, he attended the Athens School of Journalism "Spyros Melas" for two years. He served for two years in the armored corps as a reserve officer. In December 1967, he moved to London to study Business Studies and Marketing. He then pursued a master's degree in Economics (MSc) at St Peter's College, Oxford. Upon returning to Greece, he worked as an executive in a private company until 2007. He is married and has two children. He has been involved in writing for many years, but more systematically since 2007. "Dreams in Ruins" is his first novel.
