Achilleas Peklaris

Achilleas Peklaris
Achilleas Peklaris was born and raised in the center of Athens in July 1973. Over the years, he has lived and worked in New York, the Balkans, and Israel as a freelance correspondent for publications such as Athens Voice, SOUL, Kathimerini, K, Gynaika, OIKO, Vimagazino, Pop&Rock, and others. His official profession since 1996 is journalism. However, he has also worked as a bartender, kibbutz worker, photo studio employee, political speechwriter, dishwasher, beach bar manager, publishing house press officer, club bouncer, NGO spokesperson, packaging factory employee, political editor, art dealer, and public servant... but he resigned because he doesn't have a good relationship with the concept of permanence. Today, he is the editor-in-chief of www.athensvoice.gr.
