Kostas Voulgaris

Kostas Voulgaris was born in Doliana, Arcadia, in 1958. As a literary critic, he collaborated with the magazines "O Politis" and "Planodion," as well as the newspaper "Ta Nea." He curates the book pages in the "Anagnoseis" ("Book, Arts, and Sciences Critique") supplement of "Avgi tis Kyriakis." His books published by Gavriilidis include: "K. G. Karyotakis. Marching Orders" (essays, 1998), "Teos Salapasidis. A Presentation" (1999, in the "Ek Neou" series which he also directs), "From Defeat to Silence" (Essays, 2000), "Aspects of Contemporary Poetry. First Attempt" (2003). He made his debut in prose with the book "In the Dream Always the Peloponnese" (Gavriilidis, 2001), which, along with "The Horses of Arcadia" (Polis, 2002) and "Descartes in Tripoli" (Polis, 2003), belong to the open narrative cycle "The Civil Body."
