Domenico Losurdo

Domenico Losurdo, born near Bari in 1941, studied in Tübingen and Urbino, where he now teaches the philosophy of history. He is also the president of the International Society for Dialectical Philosophy, Societas Hegeliana. His extensive body of work primarily focuses on dialectical philosophy and early 19th-century Germany, but it is not limited to these subjects. Other recent works of his that have sparked considerable discussion in Italy include "Liberalism: A Counter-History," "Stalin: History and Critique of a Black Legend," and "Non-Violence: A History Beyond the Myth."
