Yiyun Li

Yiyun Li grew up in Beijing. Her short story "Immortality" won the Plimpton Prize for New Writers from the Paris Review, and her work has been published in magazines such as "Prospect," "The New Yorker," and "Paris Review." "A Thousand Years of Good Prayers" won the International Frank O'Connor Short Story Award, the Guardian First Book Award, and the PEN/Hemingway Award. In 2009, her debut novel, titled "The Vagrants," was released with the same success.
