Dora Kaskali

Dora Kaskali was born in Serres and currently lives and works in Thessaloniki. She studied Modern Greek Philology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and focused her postgraduate studies on the philological edition of Giorgos Theotokas's poems. In 2010, her short story collection "On the Train" was published by Gavriilidis Editions (shortlisted for the Diavazo magazine awards in the debut author category). This was followed by her prose works: "Down" (novel, Gavriilidis, 2011), "Five Lives and a Novel: A Study of an Apprentice Writer" (novella available in free digital format online, Open Library www.openbook.gr, 2012), "The Black Box of Their Memory" (short stories, Okto Editions, 2015), as well as her first poetry collection, "Exchange of Pleasures" (Saixpirikon, 2014).
