
Fotis Dousos
Fotis Dousos was born in Serres in 1980. He studied Theatre Studies at the Department of Theatre, School of Fine Arts, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. From 2005 to 2008, he worked as a theatre educator in primary schools and as an assistant director at the Municipal and Regional Theatre of Serres. He is a founding member of the band "Darnakes," with whom he has recorded three albums (Virgo, 2005, AnoKato Records; Libra - The Matchmaking of Antigone, 2010, Parousia Records; Scorpio, 2013, independent production) and has performed numerous concerts in Greece and abroad. http://darnakes.bandcamp.com/ In 2009, he co-founded the theatre group "Hippo" with Alexis Rapitis, which is active in children's theatre and educational drama. website: http://hippohippos.wix.com/hippo-theatre-group In 2014, he organized and led two theater camps with his collaborators to support the Greek language in Belmont, California, and Tenafly, New Jersey. In the summer of 2016, he organized a theater camp for children in Melbourne with his collaborators. He has toured with his theatre group in Canada, America, Europe, and Australia.
