David Mazzucchelli

David Mazzucchelli illustrated his first comic while still studying painting at the Rhode Island School of Design. After some work for both DC Comics and Marvel, he became the regular illustrator for the "Daredevil" series, where he first collaborated with Frank Miller on the highly successful seven-issue story titled "Born Again." Some of his more recent works include "Rubber Blanket" and "Asterios Polyp." For his work on the "Batman" and "Daredevil" series, he was honored with the American Comic Book Award and the Spanish Haxtur Award.
