Vasilis Pisimisis
Vasilis Pisimisis was born in 1960 in Vloggos, Gortynia, and has been residing permanently in Keratsini since 1967. He is an avid collector and researcher of the greater Piraeus area and has a rich cultural and collecting activity. In 1989, he founded the Historical Folklore Archive of Keratsini. He is a contributor to the magazine "Collections" and the president of the Cultural Collectors Association of Keratsini. In addition to researching and collecting historical documents and records of the greater Piraeus area, he has also engaged in folk painting and caricature. His articles have been published in newspapers, magazines, books, and albums. In 1985, he published an album of caricatures in a limited edition titled "Nionios." In 2003, his book "The Clock of Piraeus: The Old Town Hall" (published by Collections) was released.
