Fernando Iwasaki

Fernando Iwasaki was born in Lima, Peru, in 1961. He currently resides in Seville, Spain, and has been active in both countries as a historian, critic, storyteller, and essayist. One of the hallmarks of his literary work is humor, which is particularly evident in his latest work, "Spain, Keep These Awards Away from Me" ("España, aparta de mí estos premios"). His narrative "The Spanish Woman When She Kisses" ("La española cuando besa") was published in 1999, and his greatest success to date, "Ajuar funerario," was released in 2004.
