Dimitris Megalos

Dimitris K. Megalos was born in 1943 in the beautiful city of Edessa and grew up in a joyful family. After high school, he moved to Munich, Germany, where he studied Electrical Engineering at the Polytechnic. He completed his military service during the junta period, which was a truly traumatic experience. He worked as an executive in one of the largest companies in the world for years, where he learned a great deal. However, these positions, "besides the good pay, are exhausting and 'seriously harm your health.'" Fortunately, he realized this early on and, with the experience he had gained, he easily became a professor and wrote novels in his free time. He is happily married for the second time and has a son who is a doctor from his first marriage.
