Lois Lowry

Lois Lowry has authored more than twenty books for young adults, including those in the "Anastasia Krupnik" series. She has received numerous accolades, including the Boston Globe-Horn Book Award, the Dorothy Canfield Fisher Award, the California Young Reader Medal, and the Mark Twain Award. She has also won the Newbery Medal for her novel "Number the Stars." Lois Lowry divides her time between her apartment in Beacon Hill, Boston, and an 1840s farmhouse in rural New Hampshire.
