Mari Konstantatou

Marie Kyriakou was born and raised in Athens. She graduated from the Drama School of the Athens Conservatory. She had a very successful career as an actress in cinema, theater, and television, and also worked in radio. In recent years, she has been curating and presenting the daily social program "With Love" on Antenna TV. This show highlights charitable organizations, associations, and institutions, while also addressing major social issues by offering solutions and suggestions. For her contributions to volunteering and her philanthropic work, she has received numerous awards and honors. She was awarded the Gold European Volunteer Award by the European Parliament in Strasbourg. She was honored with the Communication Award for Volunteer Values by the Ministry of Health and Social Solidarity. She was also recognized by the European Youth Council as a role model for young people for her social contributions and involvement in the volunteer movement. She has actively participated in and been recognized for supporting and promoting dozens of charitable associations and non-governmental organizations. Additionally, Marie Kyriakou has created the "Boxes with Love," where clothes and essential items are collected to aid children and people in dire financial situations. The clothes are sterilized, packaged, and then sent to Greece and abroad. She also established the "Line with Love," a telephone line where people can call, and the funds collected are distributed monthly to different foundations and associations. Her love for children led her to write children's books. Marie Kyriakou has written three fairy tales featuring the character Mike the Little Bean, which have become bestsellers. The titles include "Mike the Little Bean - I'll Tickle You!," "Mike the Little Bean - I'm Going to the Sea!," and "Mike's Christmas." The first two books are available in Serbia, where they have become bestsellers, and soon all three fairy tales will be available in Chinese translation. The Mike book series is already available in English on international platforms like Amazon, under the title "Mike the Little Bean," as well as in electronic format (e-book). They will soon be available on the application store. The children's love for Mike the Little Bean inspired her to write her first theatrical play titled "The Adventures of Mike," which premiered with great success at the Aliki Theater in October 2012.
