
Diamantis Axiotis
Diamantis Axiotis was born in Kavala in 1942, where he still resides. He has published poetry collections, short story collections, novels, and anthologies of poetry and short stories. His poetry collections include "Ichor" (1966), "Percentage of Responsibility" (1974), "Diampere," published by "Skapti Yli" (1976), and "Noon Sleep," published by "ASE" (1985). He also compiled anthologies such as "Poets of Kavala" (1983), "Prose Writers of Kavala" (1985), and "Short Stories by Fotis Prasinis" (1987), all published by the Municipal Library of Kavala. In prose, he published the narrative collection "Half of the Centaurs," by "Paratiritis" (1990), and "Honey Traps," first edition by "Tram" (1994), second edition by "Nefeli" (1994). For many years, he was responsible for the literary magazines "Skapti Yli" and "Ypostego," as well as radio broadcasts. His works have been presented in theater. One of his texts is included in the curriculum for Modern Greek Literature in the second grade of Gymnasium. He is a member of the Society of Authors.
