Maria Palla

Maria Palla was born in 1952 in Thessaloniki. She studied at the School of Philosophy at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Department of Historical Studies) and continued her education in France at Université Paris VII (Jussieu) and the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS). Since 1985, she has been working in secondary education, and since 1991, she has served as a philology teacher at the Experimental School of the University of Thessaloniki. Until 2003, she published studies in historical and philological journals. Her presentations have also been published in conference proceedings. She made her literary debut in 2003 with nine prose pieces titled "Losses," which were released non-commercially by Nea Poreia Publications. The novella "Fireworks in the Night" was published in the magazine "Parodos," issue 9, second period, June 2006.
