Eleni Fotiou
Eleni Fotiou was born in Athens in 1982. She is a scientific associate at the International Center for Black Sea Studies (ICBSS), an editorial consultant for the quarterly review on Southeast Europe and the Mediterranean "The Bridge," published by the special editions of the newspaper "Kathimerini" and the "International Herald Tribune," and a permanent member of the Euro-Mediterranean "Expert Advisory Group" of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. She holds a degree in International and European Studies from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, a master's degree in International Relations with a specialization in Greek-Turkish Relations from Bilgi University in Istanbul, and is a Kostopoulos Foundation scholar. She has worked as a researcher and program manager for the "Euro-Mediterranean Observatory" at the Hellenic Center for European Studies and as a research assistant in the Greek-Turkish Studies department at the Center for European Studies at Bilgi University (2005-2007), focusing on enlargement, Euro-Turkish and Greek-Turkish relations, Turkish foreign policy, and supporting regional cooperation in the Balkans and the Mediterranean. As a representative of the Hellenic National Youth Council abroad since 2000, she has been active in the field of non-governmental organizations and has participated in numerous conferences and working groups under the auspices of the European Union, the Council of Europe, the Euro-Asian, and Euro-African Dialogue.
