Alexandros Damoulianos

Alexandros Damoulianos was born in Athens in 1990. He is a graduate of the Department of Philology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. In 2007, at the first international Athens festival, "EMOTION PICTURES: Documentaries and Disability," the short film titled "God on the Horizon," which he wrote and was directed by Lena Voudouri, was screened. In 2010, he participated in the international TEDxAthens 2010 conference. He writes for "THEMATOFYLAKES LOGO TECHNON" and "Envivlio." In 2017, he was awarded a commendation by the Unesco Group for Education, Science, and Culture for his body of work. In 2019, during the annual authors' meeting organized by the bibliophile group "BOOK-PRESENTATIONS-REVIEWS" led by Youli Tsakalou, he received an honorary plaque from Loti Petrovits-Androutsopoulou in recognition of his contribution to "Greek Letters" and "Culture." He has published six poetry collections, a children's fairy tale, a book for teenagers and adults, and a collection of short stories. His poems have been included in many anthologies and literary magazines. The poetry collection "BEGGAR'S PARADISE" is his tenth book and the third published by PNOI editions.
