
Lars Kepler
Lars Kepler is the pen name of Swedish authors and spouses Alexandra Coelho Ahndoril (born 1966) and Alexander Ahndoril (born 1967). Their manuscript for "The Hypnotist," born from their shared love of noir literature and cinema, was submitted anonymously to Stieg Larsson's publisher in Sweden. The book received an enthusiastic reception from the outset, was translated into more than 35 languages, and was adapted into a film by Lasse Hallström in 2013. The books featuring Inspector Joona Linna are bestsellers in Sweden and have been successfully translated into more than 36 languages.
