Maro Kardamitsi - Adami

Marο Kardamitsi-Adami, an architect and emeritus professor at the National Technical University of Athens, specialized in "archival documentation and architectural composition," was born in Athens in 1945. From 1974 to 2009, she taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses at NTUA (focusing on monument protection, conservation, and restoration of monuments and complexes), as well as postgraduate seminars at other academic institutions on topics related to our cultural heritage and architectural documentation. She is responsible for the Archives of Modern Greek Architecture at the Benaki Museum. Her research interests focus on modern Greek architecture and issues concerning the protection of architectural heritage.
