Sotiris Papadopoulos
Sotiris Papadopoulos was born in the historic village of Sellasia in Laconia and grew up and studied in Sparta. There, he worked at a branch of the Agricultural Bank. Later, he moved to Athens, where he worked as an accountant for an import company. Subsequently, for the next thirteen consecutive years, he was employed at the post office in Sparta. Today, he lives in the United States, where he worked for several years at Boston Airport. He traveled extensively, even by small boats, to the islands of the Aegean and Ionian Seas, during which time he began his writing career. He has completed five novels that have received very flattering reviews from readers in Greece and America. One of these, "The Steps of Sin," was published in daily installments in the Greek newspaper of New York, "Ethnikos Kirix."
