
Ha - Joon Chang
Ha-Joon Chang was born in 1963 in Seoul. He is one of the most distinguished scholars in the field of development economics and is a Professor of Political Economy of Development at the University of Cambridge. In 2005, he was awarded the Leontief Prize for Advancing the Frontiers of Economic Thought. His books include "Kicking Away the Ladder: Development Strategy in Historical Perspective," which won the Gunnar Myrdal Prize in 2003, and "Bad Samaritans: Rich Nations, Poor Policies and the Threat to the Developing World" (2007).
