
Stefanos Sinos
Stefanos Sinos was born in Athens and studied architecture at the Technical Universities of Munich and Karlsruhe, graduating in 1962. From 1963, he served as an assistant professor in the Department of Architectural History at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. He earned his doctorate in engineering from the same institution in 1967 and became a lecturer in the History and Theory of Architecture in 1970. He was a professor of Architectural Morphology and Rhythmology at the National Technical University of Athens from 1972 to 1985. Since 1984, he has been a member of the Working Group for the restoration of the monuments of Mystras and later became the chairman of the Mystras Monuments Restoration Committee of the Ministry of Culture, a position he holds to this day.
