Maria Eythymiou

Maria Efthymiou studied History at the University of Athens and the Sorbonne. She has been teaching History at the University of Athens since 1981. Over the past decade, she has offered free evening courses in World and Greek History to tens of thousands of listeners across Greece on a daily basis. She has authored three history books and approximately 70 articles and contributions to scientific conferences and history journals. In 2013, she was honored with the "Award for Excellence in University Teaching in memory of V. Xanthopoulos - St. Pneumatikos."
