Georgia Kakalopoulou

Georgia Kakalopoulou was born in Thessaloniki but resides in the Municipality of Dion-Olympos in Pieria, where she hails from. Her ancestors have roots in Crete and Asia Minor. She studied at the Technological Educational Institute of Health Visitors while simultaneously pursuing studies in classical guitar and harmony. She attended painting and drawing classes, as well as acting lessons at an amateur theater in Katerini, participating in numerous performances. Her great passion is writing novels. In 2014, her novel "Melody in the Storm" was published by Livani Publishing. She also writes poems and articles on her blog at http://georgiakakalopoulou.blogspot.com. Her articles and poems have also been published in the online newspaper Mag Newspaper. She is a member of the Panhellenic Union of Writers, the Center for Letters and Arts of Dion, and the Pieria Writers' Association. She works as a private employee in a technical office. She is married and the mother of two children.
