Eirini Margariti

Eirini Margariti was born in 1979 and grew up in Antikyra, Boeotia. She studied theater and collaborated with the National Theatre of Northern Greece, Angeliki Stellatou, Giorgos Paloumpis, among others. She has directed the plays "Unemployed" (from the "10 Metropolitan Stories") and "Blackout" ("A Small Protest"). Her short stories have been published in the literary magazine "Emvolimon" and in the "Metropolitan Stories" - a periodical publication of "Metropolis". "Flamingo" is her first poetry collection, for which she was awarded the "Yiannis Varveris" Prize by the Society of Authors.
