Titika Karavia

Titika Karavia is a Lecturer (P.D. 407/80) at the Department of Cultural Environment Management and New Technologies at the University of Ioannina and a postdoctoral fellow of the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY) at the University of Athens. She completed her postgraduate studies in literary theory and film analysis at the University of Paris III. She conducted her doctoral dissertation in the field of literary theory and cultural criticism under the supervision of Ph. Hamon. For the past three years, she has been responsible for the scientific design of the bibliographic database "Greek and Greek-Language Bibliography of Literary Theory and Cultural Criticism," a project for which she received a two-year research grant from the Alexander S. Onassis Public Benefit Foundation (project leader: Prof. Anna Tzouma). In addition to her monograph "Le Dialogue dans le récit de témoignage de la Première Guerre Mondiale" (2006), her studies have been published in Greek and international scientific journals, collective volumes, and conference proceedings. Her research interests include narrativity and memory, hybrid writings, issues of metacriticism in domestic theoretical thought during the late 20th and early 21st centuries, and the relationship between literary theory and discourse analysis.
