Georgia Papamichail

Georgia Papamichail was born in Athens. She is a poet and painter. She has participated in twelve group exhibitions in Greece and the United States, as well as in two solo exhibitions in Athens. Her first poetry collection, titled "Crimson Water," was published in 2009. This was followed by her second collection, "From Silence...," published in 2011. "The Perfection of Distance" is her third collection. Her poems have been translated into English and Bulgarian. She has served as a jury member in literary competitions and was the editor of the play "Hypatia." She is a member of the Club for UNESCO of Arts, Literature and Science of Greece and the Panhellenic Union of Writers. She teaches painting in schools in Athens.
