Vasilis Politis

Associate Professor of Ancient Philosophy at Trinity College Dublin. His research primarily focuses on ancient metaphysics and epistemology. He is the author of the book "Aristotle and the Metaphysics," London 2004, and more recently, the monograph "The Structure of Enquiry in Plato’s Early Dialogues," Oxford 2015, as well as numerous articles on Platonic and Aristotelian philosophy. He is also the editor (along with George Karamanolis) of the collective volume "The Aporetic Tradition in Ancient Philosophy," Cambridge 2017.
