Kostas Lantavos

Kostas Landavos was born in Terpsithea, Larissa, in 1949. He studied medicine at the University of Athens and worked as an internist in Larissa. His early poetry collections include "Poreia" (1980), "Chameleons and Acrobats" (1985), "Nocturnal Collector" (1989), "The Prodigal Light" (1993), and "Divine Compensation" (1997). He has published thirteen poetry collections and one novella. He translated poems by William Blake, Ezra Pound, Emily Dickinson, Valéry, and others into Greek and engaged in literary criticism. He participated in the publication of the literary magazine "Graphe," which he founded and directed from 1989 to 2004.
