Dimitris CHristakopoulos

Dimitris Christakopoulos was born in the village of Kopani, Ioannina, where he spent his childhood. He studied economics at the Eastern Industrial School of Thessaloniki and pedagogy at the Tripoli Academy. He furthered his education at the M.D.D.E. and works as a teacher in public education. He is also studying Byzantine music and participates in performances with the "Theatrical Workshop" of D.O.E. He has been awarded by the Panhellenic Union of Writers and the Union of Writers of Greece for some of his works (novel, short story, poetry, play, fairy tales). His poems have been published in various literary magazines.
