Brandon Sanderson

Brandon Sanderson was born in December 1975, in Lincoln, Nebraska. After completing his studies in biochemistry, he had the pleasure of publishing one of his many novels, "Elantris," in May 2003. This standalone epic fantasy received rave reviews and captivated the global community, achieving hundreds of thousands of sales. The "Mistborn" series is his second literary endeavor, which has already thrilled fantasy audiences with its original and well-crafted magic system, as well as its impressive action scenes. Sanderson's unparalleled writing talent and the reception he received from the global literary community led to his selection as the successor to complete Robert Jordan's unfinished monumental work, "The Wheel of Time." His works have been translated into more than twenty-five languages and have sold millions of copies worldwide. Today, Brandon Sanderson teaches at Brigham Young University and lives in Utah.
