Jonathan Black

Jonathan Black is the pen name of Mark Booth. He studied philosophy and theology at Oxford and has been working in the publishing industry for over two decades. He is currently the head of Century, an imprint of the Random House Group in the UK. "The Secret History of the World" is the result of his many years of engagement with the subjects of esotericism and the occult, both as a reader and as a publisher of many leading authors in the field, as well as a collector of rare books.
