
Aristotelis Mitraras
Aristotelis Mitraras was born in 1962 on Imbros. He studied at the Zografeion Lyceum and the Theological School of Halki in Istanbul and graduated from the Department of Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies at the School of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He continued his studies at the University of Paris Sorbonne IV, where he obtained his postgraduate diploma (D.E.A-Master) in Modern Greek Literature, and at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, where he earned a diploma (D.E.A-Master) specializing in Ottoman History. In 2010, he was awarded a doctorate from the Department of International and European Studies at Panteion University. He worked as a correspondent and translator for the Athens News Agency (A.N.A.) in Istanbul. Additionally, he served as a seconded educator at the Pedagogical Institute and was a member of the Greek Expert Committee of the Ministry of Education, focusing on the study of Turkish school textbooks. He is currently an educator in Secondary Education.
