Filters
- Open: Faster and easier aiming as it does not obstruct the user's field of view. However, the shaft may move if the speargun is turned upside down.
- Closed: Secure shaft retention and quick reloading. However, it may obstruct the field of view and make aiming more difficult.
- Roller: It uses pulleys (rollers) to increase the power and speed of the speargun, resulting in greater accuracy and range.
- Invert Roller: They use an inverted pulley system with the bands positioned underneath, ensuring great power and accuracy, with almost zero recoil.
- Short (<80 cm): Suitable for murky waters & fishing on rocks.
- Medium (81 - 110 cm): Suitable for visibility up to 10m & depth of 5-6m.
- Long (>111 cm): Suitable for deep waters, great freedom of movement & larger fish species.
- Carbon: Synthetic material with low weight and exceptional rigidity, which provides power and accuracy during shooting. It has a high cost and is sensitive to certain types of impacts.
- Fiberglass: Also known as fiberglass, it is a reinforced plastic that is impact-resistant and more affordable compared to carbon. However, it is heavier than carbon and offers less accuracy due to its elasticity.
- Aluminum: A popular choice due to its combination of low weight, good durability, and affordable price, offering a well-balanced option. However, it is susceptible to oxidation if its surface is damaged.
