Filters
- IP20: Protection against contact with fingers and large solid objects (>12.5 mm). Offers no protection against water, suitable only for indoor dry areas.
- IP30: Protection against solid objects larger than 2.5 mm (e.g. tools or wires). No protection against moisture or water.
- IP42: Protection against solid objects >1 mm and against water drops when the device is tilted up to 15°. Suitable for slightly damp indoor areas.
- IP44: Protection against small solid objects and water splashes from all directions. A common choice for bathrooms or covered outdoor areas.
- IP45: Protection against solid objects and low-pressure water jets. Suitable for outdoor use with limited water exposure.
- IP54: Limited protection against dust and protection against water splashes. Ideal for industrial or semi-outdoor areas.
- IP64: Complete protection against dust and protection from water splashes. Suitable for demanding environments with dust.
- IP65: Complete protection against dust and resistance to water jets. Very common for outdoor LED lights and LED strips.
- IP66: Complete protection against dust and resistance to powerful water jets. Suitable for tough outdoor conditions.
- IP67: Complete protection against dust and temporary immersion in water (up to 1 m for about 30 minutes). Ideal for outdoor and wet applications.
- IP68: Complete protection against dust and continuous immersion in water under specific manufacturer specifications. Used in very demanding or underwater environments.
- Dimmable: LED driver that allows adjustment of light intensity (dimming) via a compatible dimmer or control system. Used when variable lighting and energy savings are desired.
- Adjustable: A power supply in which parameters such as output voltage or current can be adjusted, usually via a switch or potentiometer. It is used for adapting to different LEDs or special applications.
