Luer Lock (screw-type): It has threading, so the syringe and the accessory screw together. The connection is more secure and reduces the chance of them disconnecting during use.
Luer Slip (snap-on/fitted): The tip of the syringe or device fits/snaps onto the corresponding end with pressure. There is no screw mechanism. It is faster to connect and disconnect.
