- 2+1: Two small fins on the sides + 1 larger one in the center offer stability and good straight-line tracking, very common in all-around SUPs.
- 3: Ideal for beginners, they offer greater stability.
- 4: They are mainly used on boards for surfing, offering quick turns and better grip on the waves.
- 5: They offer flexible adjustments for different waves. On large SUP boards, they are used for maximum stability and weight distribution.
