Clear- Jute: 100% natural, plant-based material with a soft texture. Mainly used for a traditional look, nautical decoration of indoor/outdoor spaces
- Polyester: The most durable synthetic rope. It is unaffected by sunlight (UV) and moisture, does not shrink in water, and has excellent abrasion resistance. Ideal for halyards, sheets, and permanent moorings
- Sisal: Natural rope made from agave fibers, harder and rougher to the touch than jute. It has high tensile strength and holds knots well. Ideal for classic marine ropes
- Polyethylene: Synthetic rope with a very smooth (slippery) surface, vibrant colors, and complete waterproofing. It also floats on water, is extremely flexible, but slips easily in knots. Often used for auxiliary tasks and buoys
- Polypropylene: 100% waterproof rope with the ability to float on water. Ideal for towing ropes (e.g. for lifebuoys) and temporary mooring, so it does not get tangled in the propeller. Less resistant to sunlight compared to polyester
