Clear- Needle: They require manual placement and removal on the tattoo machine, as well as a separate grip and tip for proper guidance. They are used by professionals who want greater precision and control in needle adjustment.
- Needle Cartridge: Needles integrated into sterile cartridges, designed for easy and quick swapping in pen-style or rotary tattoo machines. Their closed construction protects the needle and reduces the risk of contamination.
- Curved Magnum: Needles for smoother shading. Similar to Magnum, but with a slightly curved tip for a softer contact with the skin. They are arranged in a curve, reducing the rough effect and making the shadows more natural.
- Flat: Needles for bold lines and shading. Ideal for thick, bold lines and covering large areas. The needles are in a straight line.
- Magnum: Needles for filling and shading. Ideal for large fills and shadows. The needles are arranged in two parallel rows, allowing for greater surface coverage.
- Round Liner: Round needles for lines. Ideal for thin, clean, and precise lines (lining). The needles are arranged in a circle with a converging point.
- Round Shader: Round needles for shading. Ideal for soft shading, filling small areas, and thicker lines. They are arranged in a circular pattern but with wider spacing than RL, allowing for smoother ink flow.
- Stacked Magnum: Denser needles for intense shading. Used for more intense filling and shading than regular Magnum (M1). Similar to Magnum, but the needles are positioned closer together.
- The values refer to the thickness (diameter) of the needle in millimeters. Thicker needles are used for bold lines and filling. Thinner ones are for finer details and more precise lines.
