Clear- Bar (Μπάρες / Ράβδοι): Instruments consisting of metal or wooden bars that produce sound when struck with a mallet (e.g., metallophones, xylophones, sound bars).
- Crystal (Κρυστάλλινα): Instruments that use crystal or glass to produce sound (e.g., crystal singing bowls, glass harmonica), known for their clear, atmospheric sound.
- Energy (Ενεργειακά): Bars or bells (energy chimes) that produce a single, sustained high-frequency sound. They are mainly used for sound healing, meditation, and relaxation.
- Flexatone: A modern percussion instrument consisting of a flexible metal strip. It produces a distinctive “wavy” sound (glissando) that resembles cartoon sound effects.
